The Weekend Australian Art Melbourne took place at The Royal Exhibition Building, Carlton from Friday 18 - Sunday 20 April 2008 and was a resounding success!

The Weekend Australian Art Melbourne 2009 will take place from 17 - 19 April 2009 at The Royal Exhibition Building, Carlton and already has a fantastic selection of galleries signed up to participate. 

Bringing together Melbourne's vibrant art scene, The Weekend Australian Art Melbourne offers collectors and newcomers to the art market the opportunity to view and choose from an enormous variety of art styles, mediums and content from paintings and sculpture to new media installations and art objects.

First Night
The exclusive preview of the fair on Thursday night saw thousands of Melbournite's purchase their latest addition to their art collection. Hundreds of thousands of dollars of art was snapped up as Melbourne's famous faces and local art lovers enjoyed a fantastic night filled with great drinks and entertainment.
